‘Avatar’ actor Sam Worthington shared that after the huge success of that movie, he turned to Russell Crowe for advice on dealing with fame. He told Britain’s Elle magazine: “We Aussie actors all know each other. I’ve asked Russell Crowe for advice over the years. He’s really helped me out a lot. There’s no school that can tell you how to handle things like losing your anonymity. Russell’s advice for Sam? Be good to the fans. “(He told me) to handle it with sensitivity. It’s hard to ask someone for their autograph. So if someone asks me, why snub them? They’re braver than I am and deserve my respect.” Wow, I’m a little shocked at Russell’s advice, but he seems to loathe being famous .
