Yesterday morning Kirsten Dunst was very ladylike in her yellow flower-print dress when she visited ‘Good Morning America’ to talk about her new movie ‘ Melancholia .’ Then she got edgy in black leather for the Los Angeles Times Young Hollywood Panel last night. The official launch party for the new video game RAGE was held last night in Chinatown in Los Angeles. Dior J’Adore star Charlize Theron attended, looking as elegant as always in her little black dress and jacket. (Although I’m not sure about those shoes.) This isn’t the type of event I’d have imagined Charlize would attend, but she did star in ‘Aeon Flux,’ so this isn’t too far removed from some of her roles. I haven’t seen much of ‘Audrina’ reality TV star Audrina Patridge lately, have you? I never got a chance to check out her show. Here she is at RED Brings the Box Back to LA: an event at Paul and Andre. Love that dress she’s wearing, but I never would’ve thought to pair that wide belt with that delicate-looking dress. Well, now we know at least one of the reasons Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne were flying to South Africa : to attend the Estee Lauder Pink Illumination Ball, which is a charity event for the South Africa Look Good Feel Better Campaign. It supports women with breast cancer. Liz absolutely knows how to get glammed up, doesn’t she? She looks gorgeous! Liz even spoke at the event. This seems like a cause that’s important to her. The 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards featured some fabulous fashions, new trends and a memorable ‘ woops’ moment from Lady Gaga . Here are some more photos of the celebrity arrivals just before they entered the Alice Tully Hall in NYC. Liv Tyler opted for a multi-colored Proenza Shouler dress and Naomi Watts shimmered in a light gold Calvin Klein shift gown paired with nude heels. Chloe Sevigny debuted her own design – an interesting black and white creation (check out those heels!). Lucy Liu was probably the most glamorous wearing a stunning black feather Monique Lhuillier gown. Well, Lady Gaga was as usual ‘unforgettable’ during the CFDA Awards in New York City last night (June 6). The singer arrived at the event wearing a studded black corset dress designed by Mugler – a label now helmed by her friend Nicola Formichetti – and paired the outfit with INSANELY high platforms and a turquoise wig. After leaning forward and lifting her arm, the singer had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction when her breast slipped out. Inside the Alice Tully Hall, the 25-year-old experienced another mishap – this time with Vogue editor Anna Wintour . Anna texted Gaga saying she won the award for Fashion Icon however the singer mistook Anna for a friend of hers with the same name and texted back “ Yeah, bitch, we did it. “ Wintour ‘s response? “ How lovely. “ LOL! The ladies weren’t afraid to step outside the box of fashion neutrals last night during the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City! Opting for super bright frocks, these celebrities embraced vibrancy and style. Ashley Greene showed off her new sleek & straight hair-do wearing a pink and black retro-styled Michael Kors mini dress. Alessandra Ambrosio was red hot during the awards and hit the event wearing a super bright dress from designer Prabal Gurung – her date for the night. Alessandra took to Twitter later that evening saying: “Omg @prabalgurung just won best new designer of the year!!! I feel so lucky to be chosen to wear his amazing dress!!! Love him!!”. Another winner (my favorite of the three) was supermodel Chanel Iman . The Victoria’s Secret model wore a stunning Max Azria turquoise cut-out shoulder dress with plunging neck and thigh-high slit. Jessica Alba was simply glowing last night during the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards in New York City last night (June 6). The actress showed off her growing baby bump in a flowing neon custom Diane von Furstenburg frock. Known for her love of fashion it is no surprise that Jessica took part in the events last night. She even took to Twitter to express her excitiment saying: “Just finished rehearsal 4 @CFDA’s – getting excited 4 2night! Yay!!! @hal2r” Another MEGA winner in the fashion department was Miranda Kerr . The stunning new mom (she gave birth 5 months ago people!) and supermodel wore a beautiful black Michael Kors skirt and top with sexy cutouts.
