No, maybe just sexist. I think because Selene is the main female character, Len Wisemen (the director), though that thier shoudn’t have been any female werewolves.

no women werewolves. Hmm well, they turn by being bitten. So..someone bitten had a chance to get away before eaten/killed…women..easy midnight snack. And unlike vampires, a woman doesn’t willingly want to turn into a hairy dog, whereas to willingly become a vampire, means beauty remains.
@MajesticMasters they aren’t any in the first two movies but in Rise of the Lycans theyre are just not really mentioned. They kill Lucian’s mother near in the beginning of the movie.

I find it slightly ironic that in this film Kate Beckinsale plays a vampire and in Van Helsing she plays a vampire hunter. Still I really like this film =)

@myles3070 Rise of the Lycans is the prequel to Underworld. Though Underworld and Underworld: Evolution are respectivily first and second. Rise of the Lycans happens 600 years before Underworld and Evolution. Does that help?
