What is Kate Beckinsale’s (Selene’s) catsuit costume from the Underworld movies made from?

I’m curious as to this material. Lots of places say its probably latex but studying the film, the costume seams are stitched, which rules out latex. Any one know difinitively what her catsuit is made from?

They would want you to believe that Kate Beckinsale moves like that wearing leather, but it wouldn’t be leather, from an actors mobility point of view. It was probably a breathable latex polymer material that allows for freer range of motion.

She did look good no matter what that material was… :)

Her costume was made of latex.

She said she believed it was (But, didn’t seem to be completely sure.)in one of her interviews.

However, I have seen one of the costumes she actually wore in the movies for sale on the net. It was clearly listed as being made out of latex.
